cement = dry ÷ 7 × 1440 kg/m³
Wet concrete shrinks when mixed, so dry materials are 1.54× the volume. The 1:2:4 mix splits it into 1 part cement, 2 sand, 4 gravel.

kg/m² = (A + B) ÷ (A × B)
× joint × depth × 1.6
A and B are the tile sides in mm, depth is the tile thickness. Plus 10% for what stays on the float.

Leftover pieces can’t be joined, so the count rounds down. Doors are deducted, windows aren’t — you still cut a strip for above and below.
